Career: Larry has the distinction of being the only man to have played for both an unbeaten team as well as a winless team, as he was with Miami in 1972 and Tampa Bay in 1976. Ball played on both of Miamišs Super Bowl Championship teams. He was traded from the Dolphins to Detroit (9/7/75) and in his first game for the Lions, scooped up a blocked punt and dashed 34 yards for a touchdown against Green Bay (9/21/75). Following his stint with Detroit, Ball played one season with the Buccaneers, before spending a second tour of duty with the Dolphins when the team signed him after being released by Tampa Bay (10/25/77).
