Career: This left-footed place kicker spent 14 seasons in the NFL. In 177 games he scored 1,074 points, converting 210 out of 313 field goal attempts (67.1) and 444 of 464 extra points attempts (95.7). Yepremian is the all-time leading scorer in Dolphins history with 830 points and holds numerous team kicking records including points scored in consecutive games with 121 (8th in 1970 through 16th in 1976), most points after touchdowns (335) and is tied with Pete Stoyanovich with seven points after touchdown in one game (11/12/72 and 11/24/77). Yepremian's 110 consecutive points after touchdown is also tops in team history. He ranks fifth all-time for most points in a season with 117 points in 1971, his 165 field goals with the Dolphins ranks second in team history, and his 28 field goals in 1971 and field goal percentage of 68.2 both rank fourth all-time. Yepremian also ranks among the all-time leaders in the NFL in points after touchdown attempts (19th), points after touchdown (19th), field goals (23rd), field goal attempts (32nd), and field goal percentage (55th). His 37-yard field goal in the second overtime ended the 1971 AFC playoff classic at Kansas City 27-24, which was the longest game in NFL history.
