Career: A tremendous competitor, Kuechenberg played 15 seasons with the Dolphins and started 176 of the 190 games he played in, placing him second all-time in team history in both categories. Kuechenberg's solid, steady play resulted in six Pro Bowl appearances (1974, '75, '77, '78, '82, and '83) and he played in 19 Dolphins postseason contests. He sat out the regular season finale in 1973 because of a fractured forearm, but returned for the playoffs and played perhaps his best game in Super Bowl VIII, shutting down Minnesota's Alan Page.
